Cuthroat Island Challenge Twelve

Well, Challenge Twelve has come and gone, and a winner has been announced...but before I say who the winner is, let me go over the challenge..
Challenge Twelve consisted of 12 seperate challenges in themselves... I won't list them, you can go to PEI Talk to see what they were, and what the submissions were... the players would get a point for every question in which they won, and the player with most points wins the overall challenge... For question 3, I like twharding's submission... as I know that her submission is the only thing that will make her mother blush.. *G* In question 5, I didn't really think any of the videos were overly funny, but if I was to pick one, it would have to be twharding's submission.. I mean, an antelope or gizzel.. or whatever the heck it was... slamming into the only tree around, which happens to be sunning two lions... would have definately won the grand prize on America's Funniest Home Videos... For question 9, I have to say that twharding's answer to the question why sounds like something she may have said in court.. struck me funny... none of the other submissions really struck me... except maybe for paella's put down in question 11.. good burn, paella...
So, at the end of 12 questions, the scores were like this... willywozy came in 3rd with 3 points, twharding was a close second with 4 points, which leaves paella who wins the challenge with 5 points...
Paella now has until 9pm on Friday to choose who is going to the final Challenge with her... good luck to twharding and willywozy, as one of you will be in, and the other will be out... we'll know Friday.........

Cuthroat Island Challenges Nine, Ten, and Eleven

I know I'm late, so I'll just get into things..
Challenge Nine asked the players to write a sentence that has never been written, spoken or thought before... sounds easy, but in reality, it's not.. the rules for the sentence structure were, the sentence must be at least 6 words long.. cannot contain names, dates or numbers.. the words in the sentence must be found at dictionary.com.. and it must follow the general rules of sentence structure... Some of the sentences made sense, others did not... one of them made me laugh as I pictured it.. because of an error on Rob's part, there were 2 winners to Challenge Nine, Steverino and Frdalton... Shelley was cut
Challenge Ten was a war of words, literally.. players were to submit 7 words which would be battled against each other at www.googlebattle.com... the words had to be found on www.dictionary.com to be eligble.. There were 2 rounds to this challenge, round one, and the final round... the 2 players with the most victories would advance to the final round, which was a head to head challenge... Steverino and Paella won round one, so they went head to head in the final round... Steverino was the winner with a score of 3-2 in the final round... Cut from this challenge was Frdalton.
In Challenge Eleven, players were asked to scour the archives at PEIInfo, looking for the longest word.. vowels would not be counted, and the word that they chose could not have been posted themselves.. the word must also be found at www.dictionary.com.. they would also choose a second word as a tiebreaker...Kreskin put a bit of a monkey wrench into thw works by posting several large words that he thought were not on dictionary.com, but one of those words was there, so Rob had to accept it. Winner of this round was Paelle... Cut was Steverino..
Challenge Twelve, the second to last challenge, has been posted... Good luck to the three remaining players..

Cuthroat Island Challenge Eight

Well, the holidays are over, which means that Cuthroat is back on.... wow.. challenge eight was a doozy... and quite a read... the players were to write a letter to someone 100 years in the future... very cool challenge if you ask me.. I would have done one myself if I'd had the time... as the submissions go, they were all pretty good... some gave advice, actually most did... some talked about family.. willy described his house.. nice house, btw willy...
A new rule was made after the last challenge... if you miss 2 challenges in a row, you were automatically out of the game... with this rule in place we say goodbye to
darmiccah and designchick69... I don't know if darmiccah has said anything since the start of the game.. he/she has been pretty silent... designchick, you were a good player.. but shit happens sometimes, right? *L*
paella won immunity with her letter, which talked about family history and gave some advice.. Kratz, however, was voted to have his throat cut, with four of six votes cast... Welcome to the dark side, Kratz.. *G*
Challenge Nine has been posted... good luck to the remaining players...
